HIROSHIMA
11/02
We took a 1.5-hour bullet train trip to Hiroshima, the target of atomic bomb that destroyed the city, killed tens of thousands of people instantly and over decades of time, and thus affected the qualify of lives of people for generations. The Atomic Bomb Museum is not an easy visit, but worth every minute of your time to see the history of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, educate ourselves on the power of nuclear weapons and the devastation they are capable of causing, and leave with a determination to never see it again . We stayed at Oriental Hotel Hiroshima, an easy walking distance from the Museum and Peace Memorial Park.
